Black Ops 1

Black Ops 1 runs a hybrid restriction model. Weapons and attachments are a ban-list: anything not named under Restricted is legal. Lethals, tacticals and perks are an allow-list: only what is named under Allowed is legal. All equipment is banned and killstreaks are off.

Set the match up using the settings and restrictions in these rules, then save it as a Custom Game named COD LADDERS - SND (use your ladder's mode, for example COD LADDERS - HARDPOINT). Saving it lets your opponents load the exact ruleset instantly and makes every future match quick to host, you just load the saved game.

It is recommended (not required) to restrict all banned items, attachments and scorestreaks in the in-game custom settings so illegal classes cannot be equipped. Restricting is optional, but using any restricted item in a match is a forfeit regardless, so restricting them in-game protects everyone.

Disputes are not free

Open a dispute only when you genuinely disagree about the result. Sort it out in the match chat first: agreeing and resubmitting the correct score closes it instantly with no admin involved. Disputes that go to an admin and turn out to be dishonest, faked scores, or lying about what happened, lead to strikes, and strikes lead to bans. Play honestly and disputes will never be a problem for you.

• The host of each map is shown on the match details page.
• The non-hosting team chooses which side they start on.
• Map 1 host: the higher-seeded team (higher on the ladder). Map 2 host: the other team, and hosts keep alternating by map order from there. Some modes set the decider differently - if yours does, it is stated at the end of this section.
• Seeding: the higher seed is the team higher on the ladder, ranked by points, then win percentage, then wins. If the two teams are completely level - which includes a team's first ever match, before it appears on the ladder at all - the platform picks the map-1 host itself. That choice is fixed for the match - it is the same every time the page is loaded - and neither team can predict or influence it. Reposting a match does not help: it draws again, blindly.
• Gamertags: your PSN must match exactly how it shows in-game. In some cases an admin can approve a mismatched gamertag, and if so your opponent is notified in the match chat. If a match is played out with the wrong gamertag, the result stands.

• Each team has 10 minutes from the scheduled start (or from acceptance for ASAP matches) to join or host. Between maps in a series, teams have 5 minutes to re-join or invite.
• If your opponent has not shown within the window, use Report a no-show on the match page. That claims the match for your team.
• Your opponent can confirm it or dispute it. If they dispute, you both get a short window to sort it out in the match chat by agreeing and resubmitting the result.
• If you cannot agree in that window, the dispute goes to an admin automatically. You do not need to request one: the assigned admin's name appears on the match page once they pick it up.
• Back your claim with proof: an uncut recording showing you waited the full window with a visible clock or timestamp and your invite/join attempts. For a series, record each map's wait separately. A full live stream from your channel is the strongest proof. See Submitting proof.

Disconnects

1. If a player disconnects, they must be re-invited to the game.
2. The game may not be ended unless there is valid proof the disconnected player cannot rejoin mid-game.
3. Ending the game, or forcing your opponent to end it, without proof forfeits a round.

Glitches

Using a glitch forfeits the most recent round or the whole map depending on severity. If you see a glitch, leave the following round and say so in the match chat, then report the result you believe is correct. If the other team disagrees it becomes a dispute, and an unresolved dispute goes to an admin automatically. Banned:

1. Planting or defusing through walls or structures.
2. All out-of-map and glitch spots (wall-bounces, dives, or moving outside the normal playable space).
3. Lying down or crouching into objects to hide your player model. Normal bushes and tall grass are allowed.
4. Any spot where you can see names or diamonds through a wall.
5. If the bomb's real position differs from its icon, a round is awarded if all enemies are dead and there is proof you had time to defuse.
6. You must leave and raise it in the match chat after the round. If it is played out, the result stands.

1. If the hosting team hosts the wrong rules, submit in-game proof. If confirmed wrong, the hosting team forfeits that map. If it is 5-5 in rounds and a banned item is used, that team forfeits the whole map, so read the rules.
2. If wrong rules are played to completion, the result stands unless the broken rule only affected the final round.

1. All proof must be video, uncut, 30 seconds or more of the relevant gameplay.
2. Use your console's DVR or clip feature. Without it, your proof risks being ruled insufficient.
3. Valid proof shows the full scoreboard with gamertags and all applicable game info, clear enough for staff to read, including the game and proof method.
4. If you cannot provide valid proof of winning, you risk a loss or a replay.
5. Conversations outside the platform are not valid proof (X, PSN messages and so on). Use the match chat for all communication, it also gives admins the full history if a dispute opens.
6. If you submit a long VOD, include timestamps of the incident or it will be disregarded.
